The doors fly open and the crowd pours in, another nite, about to begin. Let's get this party started. Looks so good, sweet perfume, out on the floor she turns a head or two. Damm you're fine. Every nite, every place we play, we're watching you as you watch the show, and what we do we do it it all for you, now you're here ya know we're home. The bar is buzzin and the drink it flows, cocaine blown up her nose, can't hold back now. The music of the night begins, the song is sweet, but full of sin. Even Angels take off their wings. Every nite, every place we play, I'm watching you as you watch the show, and what we do, we do it all for you, now you're here ya know we're home. Raise ya glass, lift your hands in the air, let the good times take ya there. Raise ya glass, stomp your feet don't hold back, oh a good times what we need.

Took a walk in the city, see if you were home, maybe share a smoke and a smile, make this world seem, a little less cold .. alright. I can see ya lights on, hear the music your laughter makes, wonder who your singing your song for, turn around quick and make my escape. Down the road I keep on walkin, lookin for the next right thing, don't know if I'll ever find it, only thing I really want is, might've beens. Days are long, my night so cold, the only thing I really know, is this, ain't no luv song.

Tell Me 04:03
Said every day I look at you I wonder where you've gone, cause even tho' l'm next to you, I'm standing here alone. No answers no questions, not sure I even care, only can't help wondering, how did we make it here. Days go by so quickly not enough hours in the day, but it's the nights that drive me crazy, and sleep is no escape, cause dreamin's a nightmare, that seems worse when I wake, find myself on my knees, beg my soul the lord to take To a place, where silence is poison, and your love is like a rock. Ooh for sure, I'm drowning in your ocean, and tearing out my soul babe, won't make it stop. Tell me, your life is so much better, since you tore out my heart? Played me, it all seems so convenient, was I wrong from the start.

Been around the world so long, it seems that home is where my feet are; and the faces that I sing my songs for never really feel like strangers. So ya say I live a gypsy life and I don't know just what I'm missing, you say how can I be happy baby, without something to hold on to. But when the lights go down I'm home, another town to call my own, even the empty rooms that I play to make me feel completed... cause there's no place I'd rather be, then here with the boys singing songs with me, cause the only time I ever really feel like I'm a stranger, is when I'm home. So the days keep passin by, it's June then it's July and then it's Christmas, and I promise what ya feels the truth, but it's surreal out in the circus. And when I say that I'll be home, I never really know but I ain't lying, cause ya know we're staying lost, might as well just cut your loss and say goodbye now. Cause when the lights go down I'm home, another town, to call my own, even the faces in the 5th row really feel like family, cause there's no place I'd rather be, than here with my boys, singing songs with me, cause the only time I ever really feel like I'm a stranger.. .. is when I'm home

100% 03:24
So many birthdays come and gone, so many years, I can't remember them all. Sweet sixteen, twenty one, pushin thirty now, ya know we've had our fun. Got a wife, got this place, sitting on top of the world, but can't imagine gettin' old, havin someone, to have and to hold, who takes my guitar and took my rock n roll. So many faces come and gone, the ones I loved the best, I didn't know at all. The broken heart, the sweet embrace, a lover's touch, my scars keep leading the way. Got this band, I got this song, I'm sittin on top o the world, can't imagine gettin old, if I'm playing guitar, singing my songs, livin my life full of rock n roll. Gotta live a life, however you choose, you gotta live 100%, it's all up to you. Gotta live your live however, however you do, gonna live this life the way ya wanna do.

She, was a soft as midnight, and the light in her eves made me feel like I could see. Yes she, was the sweet surrender, she could wrap you in dreams, you know, can never be. Sisters of Mercy, guide man's fate, the double edged sword, of love and hate, love and hate. We'll she, is the light of morning, a light so bright, it can blind away your fear. Yes she, is mysterious union, the warmth of her touch on your skin, can make you bleed. Sisters of Mercy, guide man's fate, the double edged sword, of love and hate. Tell me your secrets, tell me no lies, give me a reason baby, before I say goodbye

We all break a heart or have our, own hearts broken, life ya know, is such a messy game. Yes we all lie, or have been lied to, that don't mean we ain't surviving, only means today we learn thru pain. Yes your illusions will get shattered, don't mean memories don't matter, the past is what we build tomorrow on. They say today is called the present, it's a gift we keep on getting, open every gift until it's done. So tell me sweetly, my Angels of the Broken City, can you still fly with broken wings. Yes sing so sweetly, my Angels of the Broken City, can you still fly with broken wings. So go and cry, yes let it out, at least ya have no doubts, bout why you feel, oh the way you do. You could rage, and wish it wasn't, try as you may the futures coming, and this won't be the last time you feel used. So tell me sweetly, my Angels of the Broken City, will you still fly with broken wings. Yes tell me sweetly, my Angels of the Broken City will you still fly, with broken wings

It takes time, to live a life, we make mistakes, we play with fire, never be afraid to burn it down. We tell lies, to help survive our lonely days, such desperate nights, no one scares us more, than us inside. It takes time to find our dreams, so many paths, lost so many things. We find out what we're not to be what we need. Stories told are never wasted, we drink the cup, we run our races, each success is a wall we hide, our fear behind. We are the Chosen Ones, we are the broken ones, born and bred to hard times and despair. We are the broken ones, left to die alone upon, a world you left us empty with despair. Takes no time at all to die, a final breath, we close our eyes, as we go quiet now to that long sleep. So in these days, we know are numbered, live a life, that explodes like thunder, so generations to come, of us will speak We are the Chosen Ones, we are the broken ones, born and bred to heartache and despair. We are the broken ones left to live alone upon, the world you left us empty with despair.
